MX Map Mobile
MX Map Mobile permits the display of Mapyx Ltd maps on mobile devices
The MX Map Mobile system is designed to be used with Mapyx Quo / 3SGroup MX Map GIS software. The User purchases maps via the normal Mapyx Quo interface, such as the Tile Shop within Quo, or at the Mapyx website at www.mapyx.com. Once maps are loaded into Mapyx Quo, they can be transferred to the MX Map Mobile. This combined solution of Mapyx Quo and MX Map Mobile, provides a comprehensive combined system of full GIS software and a Mobile Application which are fully compatible. Requires the latest version of Quo.Currently only Ordnance Survey GB maps are supported but others maps and more functionality will follow. After updating phone to an android 11 I cannot transfer os 25k 2013 maps over all tiles give errors when synchronization done. Workaround on previous android was to copy files over but that is no longer possible due to android security
Works ok for me. Limited functionality but still useful.
I've used Quo2 on my PC for years so I gave Mx Map Mobile a try on my Samsung S10e running Android 11. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. It takes a very long time to load. I could live with that, but it keeps stopping unexpectedly, so it isn't available when needed.
I want to like it... But it doesn't seem to support my v11 50k nor v13 25k OS Maps. They show up on the synchronisation and appear to sync but 25k maps don't show as available on the maps page and the 50k, although selectable, don't actually show up on the map view. Stuck with just the road map or mini scale, so not a lot of use. Shame.
Used for search and rescue tasks by team. Great resaults as enables tracking of team's when searching.
Absolute rubbish.
Great app to go walking with, just watch the updates. Love it when it works. Fast and efficient help is on hand.
A decent basic App for displaying any . GPS route, particularly useful when used with the best Pc mapping software, Mapyx Quo. One set of maps will work across 5 devices, a big cash saving plus! ☺
Useless, uninstalled as it simply didn't work on my Note 9.
Can't activate anymore; "Activation failed". No relevant help available on-line. Awaiting help from MX Mobile. Loaded all 50k and 25k maps and low res maps. Loaded a route also. All working fairly easily. It will be nice to see it develop. Great to have all the maps on my S5 with me all the time. Well worth £5.
